Lake Mendocino After the Storms ~ Saturday 01.28.23

I took a trip out to Lake Mendocino this afternoon to check out the water levels and enjoy the glorious weather. There were lots of walkers, joggers, doggos, and a few cyclists (although not nearly as many as were at Ukiah High School!). I felt a little teary when I first arrived seeing how beautiful the lake was, full of water under a beautiful clear blue sky. 

What a gorgeous place to live!

Daily Wandering ~ Saturday 01.28.23

I wasn't feeling great this morning but it was such a gorgeous day outside that I decided I just couldn't not go for at least a short walk. Of course, as usual, I felt better almost immediately after getting some sunshine on my face and fresh air in my lungs, and once I got my music going and my blood was pumping I felt marvelous. There were lots of folks out and about and Todd Grove Park was full of people enjoying the beautiful Saturday afternoon weather. So glad I made myself lace up my shoes and get out there.
