I spent a portion of my workday today being shadowed by County IT staff. HR is the pilot department to be receiving assistance from IT staff newly hired for the purpose of improving and streamlining systems and processes. I feel very lucky that my department was chosen to be the first to receive the expertise of these talented folks. I'm really looking forward to seeing how we can work together to accomplish our goals and I'm super excited to learn ways to do my job better and be more helpful to my HR team and the County organization.
I skipped my morning break so I wouldn't waste any of the time allotted to me. When it was time for lunch and my Daily Wandering I didn't take very many photos because I was on a mission to get in as many steps and miles as I could. But I couldn't pass up these beautiful trees and that gorgeous blue sky.
