My second May trek to the U was on a foggy morning. We headed out a half an hour earlier than the week prior and the early morning views from the City View Trail were stunning. I'd love to do the early start time again when it's clear so I can get more photos of the valley with all the city lights before the sun comes up and catch the sunrise from the top without a layer of fog. However I may choose to wait until fall when sunrise isn't quite so early and the days are cooler 😉
Many thanks again to Rosie for organizing and leading our crew. I can attest that without you I certainly would not be getting up at 4:30am on a weekend for a 5am start time. I appreciate your motivation!
